A recent LA Times article briefly mentions that a woman who was shot in the chest area is alive and well, although her breast implant is not. A LA plastic surgeon did the reconstruction, and the article link is below. It is unclear to me whether the breast implant was saline or silicone.
I’m glad the patient is still alive and doing well. Perhaps you can contact the woman to make a donation for her replacement implant surgery!
