How to Choose a Plastic Surgeon

In a word-  TRUST.

There are plenty of plastic surgeons to choose from.  In the future, I’ll go over details on credentials, the initials, the degrees, and the diplomas.  Honestly, though, it’s probably a gut feeling of….

trust.

Just like alot of important decisions in life, I would gather information on the internet.  I would recommend talking over the phone to several offices and speak to several Patient Care Coordinators.  Talk to your family and friends about your surgery. Get word-of-mouth referrals. If you know anyone who works at the hospital, talk to them as well.

In the end, you should choose the plastic surgeon that you have the best bond with.  You should trust him/ her, and they should trust you.  I believe that a deep psychological bond will help you heal faster and give you a better result than merely going for the highest price, the lowest price, the most prestigious, the nicest office, the most experience, or the most degrees.

Many things matter.  In the end, though you need to trust your surgeon.
