Free Plastic Surgery 8 – Upper Eyelid Lift

by royhkim on January 21, 2010

Show At MTV Europe Music Awards 2005

Assuming you have health insurance, it is possible to get an upper eyelid lift, or upper eyelid blepharoplasty.  You need to have a substantial amount of loose skin of your upper eyelid skin that’s actually impinging vision.  You will need to get an upper visual gaze field test, proving that your excess eyelid skin obscures your vision or makes it difficult to see when you attempt to look up.

The difficulty is in actually having this much loose skin!  Most patients, despite what they think, often have a normal test, and it’a actually quite rare to have visual impairment.  It’s difficult to impossible to “fudge” this test, so I would suggest you save up your money and pay for your upper eyelid blepharoplasty.

(NOTE- This photo shows Madonna with $20K worth of diamonds on her eyelid. If she’s been wearing these since the 2005 MTV Europe Music Awards, she mgith need an upper blepharoplasty someday.)
